Jennifer Hecker

Jennifer Hecker is the Director of Natural Resource Policy Manager for the Conservancy of Southwest Florida, specializing in water, listed species, everglades restoration, and environmental lands policy. Her educational background includes a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies from Prescott College, a graduate degree in Biology from University of Missouri-St. Louis, as well as studying law at North Carolina Central University’s School of Law.  She serves currently on the boards of several environmental organizations devoted to water and everglades issues. Prior to joining the Conservancy ten years ago, Jennifer was a Project Ecologist for WilsonMiller, as well as Environmental Specialist for the Hillsborough County Environmental Lands Acquisition and Management Program.
