Born in Istanbul, Turkey, Tarik Ayasun graduated from Robert Academy in Istanbul before traveling to the United States to receive a Marketing degree from the University of Maryland in 1972.  Mr. Ayasun has spent over 36 years in the international trade business as either owner or major share holder including ANS America Incorporated and Transit Dynamics Incorporated.  He has served on numerous Collier County boards including the Marco Island Rotary and the Forum Club.  As past President of the Marco Island Chamber of Commerce, and current President of the Marco Island Charter Middle School, his list of local civic involvement goes on and on. A resident of Marco Island since 1986, Mr. Ayasun and his wife of 38 years, Janice have two children and four grandchildren.
