Mark Bole, MBA

Mark Bole teaches entrepreneurship at Florida Gulf Coast University and advises Southwest Florida businesses on practical AI implementation. As a faculty fellow with FGCU’s Ain Technology and Design Hub, he leads student teams that build AI-enabled solutions for real community partners.
Before joining FGCU in 2017, Mark held finance roles with multinational firms and led entrepreneurial initiatives across North America and Europe.
In courses like Digital Technologies and New Venture Lab, students work on their own startup ideas. They scope problems, prototype solutions, and ship real products. Mark’s consulting informs his teaching, so students learn the tools, methods, and AI applications that matter in businesses right now.
Mark earned a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin and an MBA from the University of Tennessee. His teaching philosophy is direct: make AI understandable, show where it fits in real businesses, and measure the impact. That approach prepares graduates to contribute immediately.
